“Knowing others is intelligence. Knowing yourself is true wisdom.”
‘Sampoorna’ is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘full’, ‘total’, or ‘absolute’. This totality is reflected in Sampoorna Yoga School’s respect for all traditions of yoga and acceptance of students of all traditions and lineages from all over the world.
Our philosophy is that yoga is more than just exercise or the practice of postures. At Sampoorna we aim to promote yoga in its ‘fullness’, encompassing all 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga equally and not just focusing solely on the 3rd limb of Ashtanga yoga, i.e. asana practice.
Sampoorna Yoga is a dedicated and committed team of experienced yoga practitioners & teachers who have been studying, practicing and sharing their knowledge of yoga for more than 7 years. All our teachers are progressive in their approach and remain open to learning as well as teaching. Our teachers have studied under various masters and come from varying yogic traditions including Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa ‘Flow’ and Kundalini.
At Sampoorna Yoga we have courses, trainings, retreats and classes to accommodate a range of interests, schedules and budgets- from Teacher Training Courses to rejuvenating Yoga Holidays; you can find your place here with us! In all ways, no matter which option you choose, you will deepen your practice and understanding of yoga. We offer 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Ashtanga Vinyasa “flow” and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training course in Vinyasa “flow” from Sep-May in Agonda beach, Goa, India. We also offer exciting Yoga Holiday packages and retreats in Agonda Beach, Goa, India from Nov to March. We place great value on the setting of our premises in each location, believing an environment close to the nature and in beautiful surroundings to be the most conducive to good practice and learning yoga. In this way, Sampoorna Yoga provides a non-competitive sanctuary for students to cultivate both the stillness and awareness needed to progress on their yogic journey.
Sampoorna Yoga is a place of happiness, energy and vitality. It is a place of stillness, awareness and personal recreation. We provide a sanctuary for you to get inspired, develop, deepen and walk further along your yoga journey.
