- Not for High-Energy Flow Seekers: If you’re looking for a vigorous, high-energy flow-based practice, you may want to consider our 100-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher Training Course, which focuses on dynamic movement and an active, fast-paced style.
This course is designed for those who wish to immerse themselves in a holistic, traditional, and deeply spiritual practice of yoga. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced practitioner, the slower pace and reflective nature of the course will guide you on a journey toward deeper self-awareness and spiritual growth.
NOTE: This 100hr course is designed to deepen your understanding of Hatha Yoga; however, it does not equip you with the qualifications or tools required to teach Hatha Yoga.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS COURSE?
This 100-hour yoga teacher training program seamlessly integrates with our 200-hour Hatha Yoga TTC, offering participants the opportunity to learn alongside each other. Classes will be shared between participants of both courses.
The course spans 14 days, inclusive of check-in and check-out. Participants have the option to choose a slightly shorter duration if necessary.
Your schedule mirrors that of the 200-hour YTTC trainees, operating from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm daily, except for weekends.
Each day, your participation is strongly encouraged in the following classes:
- Morning asana class, featuring both traditional and contemporary Hatha Yoga
- Afternoon asana practice
- Pranayama and meditation session
OPTIONAL CLASSES INCLUDE:
- Engaging discussions on Hatha yoga philosophy.
- Workshops on alignment and hands-on adjustments.
- Insightful classes on yoga anatomy.
- Student Teaching classes.
Important: While this course enhances your knowledge of Hatha Yoga, it does not include the training necessary for certification to teach Hatha Yoga.
CERTIFICATION
Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training school holds accreditation as an international yoga school registered with the Yoga Alliance. Since 2009, we have been recognized as an RYS-200, RYS-300, RYS-500, and YACEP provider. Our online and in-person yoga teacher training courses and certifications are globally acknowledged, allowing graduates to teach in various countries worldwide.
Upon successful completion of our course, participants receive a 100-hour yoga teacher training certification. If you are already a qualified 200-hour Yoga Teacher from any style or school, you can register this certificate with Yoga Alliance USA as Continuing Education Providers (CEPs).

- In-Depth Asana Exploration: Gain a deeper understanding of asanas in the context of traditional Hatha Yoga. Learn how each posture serves not only physical health but also spiritual growth, enriching your practice with intention and meaning.
- Alignment, Adjustment, and Teaching Workshops: Participate in workshops designed to fine-tune your alignment, practice your adjustments, and develop an understanding of asanas grounded in both traditional and modern Hatha Yoga methods.
- Modifications and Variations: Explore practical modifications and variations for a wide range of postures, empowering you to adapt your practice and teaching to suit diverse bodies and needs, all while maintaining proper alignment and breath awareness.
- Mantras and Chanting: Immerse yourself in the transformative power of sacred sounds and mantras. Chanting will help deepen your spiritual connection, enhance focus, and bring mindfulness into your practice, in alignment with the teachings of the Sivananda tradition.
- Themed Workshops: Take part in workshops centered around specific themes, such as hip openers, headstands, inversions, backbends, and arm balances. These workshops will expand your skill set, increase your body awareness, and enhance your knowledge of different yoga practices.
- Meditation & Pranayama: Engage in daily meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) sessions to cultivate inner peace, mental clarity, and optimal energy flow. These practices are essential for spiritual growth and balance, deeply rooted in the Sivananda tradition.
- Correct Use of Props: Learn how to properly use props—such as blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets, and walls—to support your alignment and improve your practice, as well as how to integrate props in your teaching for students of all levels.

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY
These classes prioritize comprehending the physical and energetic anatomy and physiology of the human body. Significant emphasis is placed on the advantages of yoga poses for our key body systems and connective tissues.
Pre-study: Upon booking the course, you gain access to our Pre-Study Online Module. While not mandatory, it comes highly recommended. Enjoy lifetime access to this valuable resource.

- The course fee is in Euros and inclusive of all taxes.
- Included in the fee: Training, accommodation and meals.
- Not included: Travel, insurance, visa, and any other liability.
- Airport transfers: Available at INR 2400-3000 depending upon type of the taxis, and the airport of arrival.
- Check-in: From 2pm onwards on the course start date.
- Check-out: At 2pm (after lunch) on the second Saturday of the 200hr course.
- Orientation meetings: Are held between 5-6 pm on the course start date.
- Accommodation: We have two types of accommodation named Sampoorna and Anaya. All rooms are air-con and have private hot showers. We will always give you the accommodation agreed upon but life happens and sometimes we may have to make changes if required due to the circumstances beyond our control. - Booking amount: Once accepted in the course you will be asked to pay a non-refundable but transferrable booking fee of €200 via Stripe. Your place on the course will be confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit amount. This fee will be adjusted in your total course fee.
- Remaining Balance: Upon arrival at Sampoorna yoga, Goa by cash, debit or credit card.
